Specialist instruments, within reach of research teams
Mach-Bio gives biotech startups, academic groups and other life-science teams hourly access to specialist instruments, with the training to use them well.

What we do
Buying, housing and maintaining specialist instruments is out of reach for many research teams. Mach-Bio removes that barrier: hourly access to instruments for imaging and microscopy, flow cytometry, immunoassays, qPCR and plate-based assays, together with the practical training needed to use them well.
Every user completes instrument-specific training before independent use. Once Mach-Bio confirms certification, instrument time is booked through Calira, the booking system.
Mach-Bio is the official BioPartner Core Facility, based at BioPartner 3 on the Leiden Bio Science Park.
How we work
Access, properly supported
Instrument time is only useful when the person using it can get reliable data. Training and certification are part of every route to independent use.
Clear boundaries
Mach-Bio handles information, pricing, intake, training, certification and onboarding. Calira handles availability, scheduling and bookings.
Published prices
Starter packages and hourly rates are on the pricing page, all excluding VAT. Anything outside the published offer is quoted individually.
Careful with samples
We review sample type, biosafety and handling with you, so sessions run safely and correctly.
